Description
Amprocox is a veterinary anticoccidial preparation combining Amprolium Hydrochloride (200 mg/g) and Sulfaquinoxaline Sodium (150 mg/g), complemented by essential vitamins A and K3. This combination effectively targets coccidiosis in livestock and poultry, enhancing production performance and farm profitability.
Active Ingredients:

Amprolium Hydrochloride: Inhibits thiamine uptake by Eimeria spp., starving the parasites and preventing their proliferation.

Sulfaquinoxaline Sodium: Exhibits bacteriostatic properties against various Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, also providing coccidiostatic effects.

Vitamin A (15,000 IU/g): Essential for vision, skin integrity, and mucosal health.

Vitamin K3 (5 mg/g): Plays a crucial role in blood coagulation processes.
Indications:

Livestock: Effective in treating and preventing coccidiosis caused by Eimeria species in calves, sheep, and goats.

Poultry: Controls avian coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys.
Dosage:

Calves, Sheep, and Goats:

Preventive: 1 g per 50–100 kg body weight via drinking water or milk for 21 days.

Curative: 5 g per 25–50 kg body weight via drinking water or milk for 5 days.

20 g per 20–40 liters of drinking water for 5–7 days.

Note: For pre-ruminant calves, lambs, and kids only.
Withdrawal Times:

Meat: 14 days for calves, sheep, goats, and poultry.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Amprolium, Sulfaquinoxaline, or any component of the formulation.

Not recommended for animals with impaired renal or hepatic function.
Side Effects:

At high dosages, laying hens may experience egg drop, and broilers may show growth inhibition and polyneuritis.

Other potential effects include crystalluria, anemia, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia.
