Ultratet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic containing Oxytetracycline 10%, designed for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections in cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs. It is effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and is particularly useful in treating respiratory infections, wound infections, foot rot, mastitis, and enteritis.

Composition:

• Oxytetracycline (as dihydrate) – 100 mg/mL

Indications:

• Pneumonia and respiratory infections

• Foot rot

• Wound infections

• Navel ill

• Mastitis and metritis

• Enteritis

Dosage and Administration:

• Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs: 1 mL per 10 kg body weight by intramuscular injection.

• Repeat if necessary as per veterinary advice.

Withdrawal Periods:

• Meat: 28 days

• Milk: 7 days

Precautions:

• Use sterile syringes and needles.

• Do not inject more than 20 mL per site in large animals.

• Shake well before use.

Storage:

• Store below 25°C in a dry place away from sunlight.

• Keep out of reach of children and animals.
