Description

Ultratet LA is a long-acting, broad-spectrum antibiotic solution containing Oxytetracycline 20%. It is formulated for the treatment and control of bacterial infections in cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs. Its sustained-release action ensures prolonged therapeutic blood levels, minimizing the need for repeated dosing.

Ultratet LA is highly effective against respiratory infections, wound infections, foot rot, mastitis, metritis, enteritis, and other diseases caused by oxytetracycline-sensitive organisms. It is ideal for use in livestock farming where fast action and long protection are crucial for maintaining herd health.

Composition:

• Oxytetracycline (as dihydrate) – 200 mg/mL

Indications:

• Pneumonia and respiratory infections

• Navel ill and joint ill in young animals

• Mastitis, metritis

• Foot rot

• Enteritis

• Wound infections

Dosage and Administration:

• Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs: 1 mL per 10 kg body weight via deep intramuscular injection.

• May be repeated after 72 hours if necessary.

Withdrawal Periods:

• Meat: 28 days

• Milk: 7 days

Precautions:

• Use sterile equipment for each injection.

• Do not inject more than 20 mL per site in cattle and 10 mL per site in smaller animals.

• Shake well before use.

Storage:

• Store below 25°C in a dry, dark place.

• Keep out of reach of children and animals.
