Description

Terroxy 20% LA is a long-acting, broad-spectrum antibiotic solution containing Oxytetracycline 200 mg/ml. It is formulated for deep intramuscular injection in cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs.

It is highly effective against a wide range of bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, wound infections, foot rot, mastitis, metritis, and bacterial enteritis. The long-acting formulation ensures sustained blood levels, allowing fewer injections and better treatment compliance.

Active Ingredient:

• Oxytetracycline 20% (200 mg/ml)

Uses:

• Respiratory infections (pneumonia, bronchitis)

• Foot rot

• Mastitis

• Metritis

• Wound infections

• Joint infections

• Bacterial diarrhoea

Target Animals:

• Cattle

• Sheep

• Goats

• Pigs

Dosage and Administration:

• Deep intramuscular injection.

• Dose: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight.

• Administer once; a second dose may be given after 72 hours if needed.

• Do not inject more than 20 ml per site in cattle and 10 ml per site in small ruminants.

Withdrawal Period:

• Meat: 28 days after the last treatment.

• Milk: 7 days after the last treatment.

Precautions:

• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.

• Use a clean, sterile needle and syringe.

• Avoid injecting into fatty areas or contaminated sites.

Storage:

• Store below 25°C.

• Protect from direct sunlight.

• Keep out of reach of children.
