Engemycin 10% is an injectable antibiotic solution containing 100 mg/ml of oxytetracycline hydrochloride as the active ingredient. It is formulated for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to oxytetracycline in various animal species, including horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs, and cats.

Dosage/Application:

Short-Duration Regimen: Administer at a dosage rate of 3–10 mg/kg body weight via intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection. Repeat every 24 hours for up to 5 treatments. IV injections should be given slowly over at least one minute.

Prolonged-Action Regimen: Administer at a dosage rate of 10–20 mg/kg body weight via IM injection. Repeat once after 48–60 hours if necessary. Not recommended for horses, dogs, or cats.
