Description
Disulfox L.A. is a long-acting injectable antibiotic formulated for use in livestock, including cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, calves, lambs, and horses. It contains Sodium Sulfadimethoxine 40% m/v, a sulfonamide antibiotic effective against a broad spectrum of bacterial infections.
Indications:

Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: Treatment of foot rot, pneumonia, navel ill, and joint ill.

Calves and Lambs: Management of coccidiosis and bacterial scours.

Horses: Treatment of pneumonia, strangles, navel ill, and joint ill.

Pigs: Treatment of pneumonia and joint ill.
Dosage & Administration:

Initial Dose: 1 to 2 ml per 10 kg body weight.

Maintenance Dose: 0.5 to 1 ml per 10 kg body weight.

Route: Administer via subcutaneous or slow intravenous injection.

Duration: Do not treat for more than 4 consecutive days.

Note: Massage the injection site to enhance absorption and minimize swelling. When administering intravenously, inject very slowly and monitor for any signs of discomfort.
Withdrawal Periods:

Meat: Do not slaughter animals for human consumption within 7 days of the last treatment.

Milk: Milk from treated cows must not be used for human consumption within 48 hours of the last treatment.
Precautions:

Ensure animals have free access to ample drinking water during treatment and for at least two days after the last treatment.

Store in a cool, dark place.

Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals.

Dispose of empty containers according to local waste disposal regulations and do not reuse for any other purpose.
