Strengthening Our Commitment to Transform Africa’s Agribusiness in 2026

CEO of Farming In Africa

As we step into 2026, Farming in Africa (FIA) is reaffirming and strengthening its commitment to transforming Africa’s livestock and agribusiness sector through focused, intentional action.

Under the dynamic leadership of our Founder and CEO, Mr. Fredrick Benneh Frimpong, our work this year is anchored around three strategic pillars that continue to define our impact across the continent: Capacity Building, Agroprocessing, and the replication of scalable model farms across Africa.

These pillars reflect not only what we do, but how we create lasting value within the agribusiness ecosystem.

Our Strategic Focus Areas:

Capacity Building

Education remains at the heart of Africa’s agribusiness transformation. In 2026, FIA is scaling its farmer education, technical training, and institutional capacity-building programs to equip individuals and organizations with the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to build profitable, sustainable agribusinesses. By strengthening human capital, we are laying the foundation for long-term industry growth.

Agroprocessing

Value addition is critical to unlocking the full potential of Africa’s agricultural sector. Through agroprocessing, FIA is working to develop innovative feed solutions, improve product quality, and create market-ready solutions that enhance incomes and food security. Our approach focuses on efficiency, innovation, and scalable systems that support both smallholder and commercial operators.

Replication of Scalable Model Farms

Building on the success of our Semanhyia Learning & Development Farm, with a good reputation as an authentic breeding and genetics centre—we are committed to replicating proven, scalable farm models that integrate quality breeding stock, production, training, and innovation. These model farms serve both as reliable sources of legitimate starter stock for farmers and as practical learning hubs, providing blueprints for sustainable livestock enterprises that can be adapted across diverse African contexts.

Values That Drive Our Work

Our renewed strategic focus is powered by the values that guide every aspect of our operations.

We are driven by speed, delivering timely solutions in response to the urgent needs of the livestock and agribusiness sector. We embrace bold, forward-thinking innovation, challenging outdated practices and introducing systems that enable industry-wide transformation. Above all, we pursue measurable, results-driven impact that improves livelihoods, strengthens communities, and advances the sustainable growth of Africa’s agribusiness industry.

Accountability, efficiency, and resilience remain central to our approach. We believe that sustainable impact requires discipline as much as passion, and excellence in execution as much as vision.

From farmer education and feed solutions to model farms and strategic partnerships, everything we do is guided by intention, professionalism, and a commitment to quality.

People at the Center of Progress

Beyond systems, structures, and solutions, FIA’s work is fundamentally about people.

Farmers, families, communities, and partners are at the core of our mission. We lead with empathy, communicate with honesty, and operate with the deep understanding that progress is collective. The principle of Ubuntu; belief that our success is shared, shapes how we engage, collaborate, and build lasting impact.

Looking Ahead

This is what drives us.
This is why we do the work.

And this is how Farming in Africa is helping shape the future of livestock and agribusiness in Africa; intentionally, sustainably, and together.
