VULBEK-ORF Vaccine is a live attenuated viral vaccine used for the prevention of contagious ecthyma (Orf disease) in sheep and goats. Orf is a highly contagious viral skin disease causing scabby sores around the mouth, nostrils, eyes, and sometimes on the feet and teats. Vaccination with VULBEK-ORF helps reduce the severity and spread of outbreaks in flocks.

• Composition:

  • Contains live attenuated Orf virus strain.

• Indications:

  • Prevention and control of contagious ecthyma (Orf) in susceptible sheep and goats.

• Dosage and Administration:

  • Administer by scarification (scratching the skin) preferably on a wool-free area like the inside of the thigh or under the tail.

  • Use a sterile applicator to apply a small amount of the vaccine to the scarified area.

  • Vaccinate healthy animals only.

• Timing:

  • Ideally vaccinate lambs and kids at 6–8 weeks of age.

  • Revaccination may be needed in areas with persistent infection risk.
