Description

Ultratet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic containing Oxytetracycline 10%, designed for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections in cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs. It is effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and is particularly useful in treating respiratory infections, wound infections, foot rot, mastitis, and enteritis.

Composition:

Oxytetracycline (as dihydrate) – 100 mg/mL

Indications:

Pneumonia and respiratory infections

Foot rot

Wound infections

Navel ill

Mastitis and metritis

Enteritis

Dosage and Administration:

Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs: 1 mL per 10 kg body weight by intramuscular injection.

Repeat if necessary as per veterinary advice.

Withdrawal Periods:

Meat: 28 days

Milk: 7 days

Precautions:

Use sterile syringes and needles.

Do not inject more than 20 mL per site in large animals.

Shake well before use.

Storage:

Store below 25°C in a dry place away from sunlight.
