Description

Amiraz is a potent, fast-acting veterinary insecticide and acaricide containing Amitraz (typically 12.5% or 20% EC) used to control ticks, lice, mange mites, and fleas on cattle, sheep, goats, and dogs.

• Composition: Contains 12.5% to 20% w/v Amitraz, a non-systemic acaricide/insecticide.
• Target Parasites: Highly effective against cattle ticks (including resistant strains), mange mites (sarcoptic), lice, fleas, and keds.
• Animal Usage: Suitable for cattle (beef/dairy), sheep, goats, deer, and dogs (for demodicosis/sarcoptic mange).
• Application Methods:
  • Cattle: Spray or dip.
  • Bees: Evaporation or fumigation.
  • Dogs: Topical treatment.
• Safety Precautions: Common side effects in pets include sedation, slow heart rate, vomiting, and diarrhoea. It is toxic if ingested by humans.
• Storage & Usage: Solutions should be used within 6 hours of mixing.
