Role Overview – Sales and Logistics Coordinator

Your job will be to respond actively to customer inquiries, via all the company touchpoints Whatsapp, Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram messages and emails promptly and assigning leads to sales agents. 

Responsibilities

As a Sales and Logistics Coordinator you will; 

 

  • Prompt process and delivery of customers orders; 
  • Respond to customers’ needs and enquiries via phone calls and WhatsApp swiftly and professionally; 
  •  Ensure payments are received before delivery of any order; 
  • Persuasively engage to convert leads to hit sales targets. 
  •  Advising on inventory levels, stock security, stock safeness and stocking locations to maintain adequate stock while minimizing carrying costs; 
  •  Cost Management: Identifying cost-saving opportunities in distribution operations without compromising on service levels. 
  • Prospect New Customers: Engaging with other stakeholders like Livestock farmers, agricultural shops and agencies; 
  • Documentation of all the processes involved in managing customers’ orders and delivering of customers’ needs and recording same for report purposes; and 
  • Compliance with all company policies and government regulations that pertain to business operations, health, safety and labor requirements of the entity.
  • Any other assigned tasks

 

 

       Skills, Attributes and Experience

        Our ideal colleague should have the following skills, attributes and experience: 

  • A minimum of Diploma in Marketing, Business, Agriculture or a related field.
  • Ability to use computer applications. 
  •  Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • A good command of the English language, both written and spoken. 
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus. 
  • An appreciable working experience in a similar role. 
  •  Ability to work under pressure with or without supervision. 
  •  Must be available to start work immediately. 
  •  A great passion for Agriculture. 
  • This role requires excellent customer service skills, including the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally via phone and WhatsApp.
  • You’ll need strong sales skills to convert leads and meet sales targets.
  • Experience processing and fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently is essential.
  • Inventory management expertise is crucial, ensuring you maintain adequate stock levels, security, and proper storage locations while minimizing costs.
