As a Shop Attendant at Agroventures, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our agricultural retail store. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, maintaining a well-organized and stocked store, and assisting customers with their agricultural product needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement – Assist customers, providing information on agricultural products; understand customer needs and recommend suitable products thereby fostering positive relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Product Knowledge – Develop a deep understanding of the store’s agricultural product range; stay informed about new products, features, and industry trends; and effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
- Customer Service Excellence – Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues; handle transactions accurately and efficiently; and ensure a positive and memorable shopping experience for customers.
- Merchandising – Assist in maintaining attractive product displays to stimulate sales; monitor and replenish stock on the sales floor; implement merchandising strategies to highlight key products.
- Order Fulfillment -Ensure accurate order fulfillment, safe handling and packaging of products for deliveries and pickups.
- Sales Reporting – Record and report daily sales activities and achievements; provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends; collaborate with the sales team to analyze and improve sales performance.
- Operations – Work with retail manager for efficient operational processes; and maintain the store’s cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
- Stock Audit -Collaborate with retail manager to conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
Requirements:
- At least SSCE/ WASSCE qualification.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is desirable.
- Passion for agriculture and basic knowledge of agricultural products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to learn about new agricultural products and technologies
- Must reside in Achimota and environs
- Working hours 7am-7pm including Saturdays.
