About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and manage various aspects of our organization. This role will be pivotal in driving operational excellence, ensuring smooth project execution, and fostering strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:

  • Design, implement, and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
  • Establish strategic partnerships to strengthen the organization’s position in the market.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment.
  • Implement robust quality control measures to maintain high standards of product or service quality.
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Manage and coordinate projects to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and exceeding expectations.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
  • Recruit, train, and develop talented individuals to build a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience Manager to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.

 

Project Management:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including farmers, community leaders, and donors, to build strong relationships and align project goals.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and prepare detailed reports for management and donors.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and donor regulations.
  • Lead capacity-building initiatives and training programs to empower team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in project management and operations management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project  management tools.  
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for agriculture and sustainable development.
