Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Information Technology professional to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure, protecting sensitive data, and ensuring business continuity.

Responsibilities

•  Research, Identify and configure optimum software and application systems that suits the needs and specifications of all departments and companies under Farming In Africa
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
• Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person, diagnosing and resolving IT-related problems.
• Ensure IT security by implementing data backups, antivirus protection, and access controls.
• Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and system security.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve IT efficiency and user productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and requirements.
• Plan and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and software installations.
• Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and user training.   

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Information Technology principles and practices.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and incident response.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
• Proactive and results-oriented.
