Role Summary- Head of Communication 

• 1. Cultivate and maintain relationships with agric-value chain stakeholders, while highlighting impact stories and advocacy .
• 2. Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging across all communication channels;Social Media and Website.
• 3. Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, sales, and project management, to ensure consistent and effective communication.
• 4. Develop communication strategies to enhance the company’s brand and reach especially on all key social media platforms.
• 5. Act as the primary point of contact for public relations, while managing the company’s image and ensuring positive media coverage.
• 6. Oversee content marketing initiatives, ensuring the creation of high-quality and impactful materials that resonate with the target audience.
• 7. Develop compelling and engaging scripts for social media videos, ensuring alignment with the company’s messaging and goals
• 8. Monitor communication metrics and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
• 9. Lead the development and submission of partnership grants and proposals, showcasing the company’s objectives and initiatives.

Skills, Attributes and Experience

Our ideal colleague should have the following skills, attributes and experience: 

• A minimum of Diploma in Communication Studies,Marketing, Business,     Agriculture or a related field.
• Willingness to work during odd hours 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• A good command of the English language, both written and spoken. 
• Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus. 
• An appreciable working experience in a similar role. 
• Ability to work under pressure with or without supervision. 
• Must be available to start work immediately. 

•  Ability to use computer applications. 

• A great passion for Agriculture.
