As a Farm Supervisor at FIA, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of livestock farms, ensuring healthy farm management practices, and maintaining sustainability. You’ll provide guidance to farm workers and help implement best practices for livestock health and productivity.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily farm activities including feeding, cleaning, breeding, and health checks

Oversee and guide farm hands and interns in their roles and responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping of animal health, feeding schedules, and production

Monitor livestock conditions and report health or behavioral concerns to the Farm Manager

Support the implementation of biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare protocols

Assist with feed distribution, pasture rotation, and livestock movement

Manage supplies and communicate any material or equipment needs

Help facilitate farm visits, training activities, and inspections as needed
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field

3+ years of experience in livestock farm management

Strong leadership and communication skills

Knowledge of sustainable farming practices
