Farm Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day livestock farm operations (feeding, breeding, health, cleaning, etc.)

• Supervise farm staff, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and in accordance with best practices

• Monitor animal health and liaise with veterinary personnel for disease prevention and treatment

• Implement and oversee record-keeping systems for animal performance, inventory, and farm activities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Manage farm input use, including feed, supplements, water systems, and medical supplies

• Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting on farm performance

• Support ongoing training and capacity building of farm workers and interns

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animal Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in livestock farm management (preferably mixed species)
• Strong knowledge of animal husbandry, health, breeding, and feeding systems
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage farm records and reports using digital tools or farm software
• A solutions-driven, hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail
