Role Overview – Customer Support Agent

Your job is to provide exceptional service. You will  guide clients through product selection, order processing, and address any concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities : 

As a Customer Support Agent, you will;

• Provide exceptional customer support: This includes handling detailed inquiries, answering product-related questions, and ensuring smooth order confirmations.
• Address customer concerns, provide technical support over the phone, Identify opportunities to suggest additional products or services that could benefit customers.
• Help customers select suitable farm support services.
• Assist in the onboarding process of new clients
• Proactive follow-up: reach out to customers to address any lingering questions and keep them informed about the progress of their orders.
•  Maintain a calm demeanor and a professional tone while handling difficult clients. 
•  Document customer interactions and issues, in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system 
•  Listen empathetically to customer complaints and concerns, to find a fair and a satisfactory solution. 
•  Be the friendly voice that ensures customers have a positive experience from start to finish.
• Ensure an accurate order processing, and provide information about product availability
• Guide customers through purchasing processes, and build rapport with potential and existing clients.
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you.      

Our ideal colleague should have the following skills, attributes and experience: 

• A minimum of Diploma in Marketing, Business, Agriculture or a related field.
• Ability to use computer applications. 
• Willingness to work during odd hours on a shift system. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• A good command of the English language, both written and spoken. 
• Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus. 
• An appreciable working experience in a similar role. 
• Ability to work under pressure with or without supervision. 
• Must be available to start work immediately. 
• A great passion for Agriculture.
